Ms. Roslyn Vinolia is a graduate in Social Work and has over 18 years of work experience, having started her career as a Teacher in Jack & Jill Primary School in Vijayawada. She handled Nursery and Primary classes for 2 years. She later migrated to Chennai after marriage and worked as a Front Office Executive with The Residency Hotel in Chennai and later at Sterling Holiday Resorts.

In 1999, Roslyn Vinolia was driven by a spark to get into social work and care for the needy and less fortunate children after she heard a destitute woman’s story – a woman who had no means to care for her infant child and whose spouse had deserted her. Roslyn decided that along with two of her own children she would extend support to one more. One was just a beginning. One became two, then three and suddenly she knew that she needed more space and resources to manage the growing numbers. So, on August 22, 2001, Roslyn with two other like minded persons decided to establish Jeevan Roshini Charitable Trust and Roshini Home was born.
